Sean Beecher Rotoscope Research

The ones I liked the most out of the ones I watched were "the jar", and "the once upon a time in the woods." The reason why I like these is because I really like the detail of the people, all the movements look genuine and they both look really good. The jar video was sad though. If I were to guess I think they were both hand drawn. I would have to say that hand drawn is the best because it captures a lot of elements that don't always look too great with digital rotoscope. I also like the wave video because of the kind of ominous look the waves had crashing into each other and swaying back and forth. The first two videos I mentioned did a great job with angles making objects and people appear from all parts of the screen. The wave thing didn't really have that but it had a special look to it being waves. Something about the movements looked really cool to me. In the jar and the once upon a time in the woods, they seriously almost look like they could be animation pieces in a video game. They both really looked like the kind of people I see when playing a game. Another thing they both have going for them is that they really do good at utilizing the backgrounds also. The backgrounds look realistic and nice. All of them proved to be very impressive and cool.
